Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Doyle Homes Ltd collects when you ask for a quote, call us or use this website, why we collect it, who sees it and what your rights are under UK GDPR.

Who we are

The data controller is Doyle Homes Ltd, company number 11291318, registered office 59 Union Street, Dunstable, LU6 1EX. To ask a question about your data, call 01582 807949 or write to us at that address. We do not employ a data protection officer, and Hugh O'Shea deals with data requests.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to quote, carry out and guarantee your work:

  • Details you give us in the quote form or on the phone: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, postcode or address, the type of job and any message or photos you send.
  • Records of the quote, the survey, the job, payment and your guarantee paperwork if you become a customer.
  • Technical data from your visit: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view and the advert or page that brought you here, including advert click identifiers.

Why we use your data and our legal basis

  • To call you back, survey the roof and send you a quote: taking steps at your request before a contract.
  • To carry out the work, invoice you and honour the guarantee: performing our contract with you.
  • To keep accounts and meet tax rules: a legal obligation.
  • To keep the website secure, block spam and run the business: our legitimate interests.
  • To measure which adverts bring enquiries, using Google Ads and Meta tags: your consent, which you give or refuse in the cookie banner.

Who receives your data

Your enquiry is sent through our website host, Netlify, which processes the form on our behalf, and into Hammerdown Pro, the customer management system we use to record enquiries and call you back. Google and Meta receive advert measurement data only if you accept advertising cookies. We do not sell your data or pass it to anyone to market to you.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where they are, the transfer is covered by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK addendum to standard contractual clauses or the UK-US data bridge.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for 24 months, then delete them. If you become a customer, we keep your job records and guarantee paperwork for the 20 years the guarantee runs, and accounting records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You have the right to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw consent at any time. Call 01582 807949 to use any of these rights. We reply within one month.

Complaints and changes

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, tell us first and we will put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We update this policy when our practice changes. Last updated 16 October 2026. See also our cookie policy and terms.
