Doyle Homes reviews: what customers say

Hugh and his team were recommended to us by a neighbour. He did a really thorough job when carrying out his initial survey and didn't push us to make a decision. We were quoted a competitive price and ended up having our whole roof replaced. The work was done really quickly, but to a high standard. Any questions or small issues we had were answered and addressed straight away, removing any potential stress. Hugh made sure we were 100% happy with the job and we were really impressed with the level of communication, as well as his attention to detail. You hear some horror stories, so it was really reassuring to find a reliable service.

Doyle Homes did a great job and cleared my guttering quickly, effectively and was well priced. Would recommend!

I was very impressed with the skills, knowledge and professionalism of Hugh and his team. I was given a very thorough explanation of the work that would be done and helpful advice answering all my questions. The work was completed in a timely manner, and they left my property clean and tidy. The end result looks great I am very happy with it.

Lovely workmanship would definitely recommend

We've just had the front and side windows, and the gable feature painted. The windows white, and the feature cream. They haven't been painted for a VERY long time, and were in quite a state, and they now look like new. I don't know the price, but I know that Mum wouldn't have paid a fortune! Mum won't divulge, but wasn't happy with the price, but you can see that the quality is good, and nothing's cheap nowadays. The youngish chap who did the work was unlucky in that he worked for 3 days in a heatwave, but he got on with it, without complaint and did a good job.👍

We used Doyle homes in May to fix some guttering for us and were so impressed we asked them back to replace the front of our leaking roof. Once again they were all punctual, polite and very efficient. They even managed to keep our loft space dry whilst working in some awful rainy conditions . We are very happy to reccomend them for any roofing jobs.

Complex work on an old house, new slate roof panel, replacing flat roof lead, new gutters, chimneys sorted, soffit repairs, new ridge tiles, repointing and painting. A major amount of work done in rapid succession with no missing days in between under the auspices of Hugh. I would thoroughly recommend him and his team. One gutter joint came apart in the hot weather following and Hugh came very promptly to fix it. How work should be done.

Honest and reliable! Couldn’t recommend a better service!

Our chimney, fascia and gable boards needed repair. When the edge tiles came off the deterioration of the roof battens and roofing membrane was obvious. Such is the excellent customer care and problem solving, Hugh’s team swung into action, extra scaffolding was swiftly erected and the whole roof replaced with new tiles within two weeks, with some additional work I requested also completed. All done efficiently, tidily and by a skilful, hard-working and polite team. I appreciated such good communication and advice and am delighted with the outcome. Several neighbours have said how impressed they are with the finished result. I am happy to recommend this company to others.

Hugh and his team recently did some work on our house replacing guttering for us. They were polite and professional at all times and completed the work in an efficient manner. I am happy to recommend them and will probably ask them to come back for other jobs that need doing in the future.

Such a positive experience to find a reliable and helpful contractor. Having had my flat roof repaired last month by this builder I enquired about the cost of the main house roof and found Hugh both helpful and knowledgeable about alternative roofing options. I decided to have Doyle Homes to reroof the house and apart from a small hiccup with scaffolding, which was not Doyle's fault, the work has now been completed and the results speak for themselves. In three days my tired old roof has been replaced by a brilliant team who worked very hard, and tidied up after themselves, all under the watchful eye of Hugh. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone who is considering roofing work and would certainly use them again.

Doyle roofing completed a new roof for me 3 years ago. Excellent work. Today they returned promptly to repair a couple of edging strips that had been dislodged by the wind. Again brilliant service.

i had on going roofing problem, called the doyle .. problem solved.. very happy.. thank you guys..

Great service, job done to a good standard. Friendly lads who completed the job. Would definitely recommend 😊

We were very impressed with the skills and professionalism of Hugh and his team. They listened to what we wanted, gave good advice, were very quick to quote, and really demonstrated that they wanted to win the job. The scaffold arrived about 24 hours after agreeing the work and the whole team worked very hard and long days to get the entire roof replaced in a short space of time. Everything was cleared up quickly, and we're very happy with the end result. Thank you

Flat roof on our 60 year old dormer bungalow had become badly weathered and in danger of leaking. Also ridge tiles and gutters needed replacing. In Doyle Homes I couldn't have made a better choice. No time was lost and all work was completed in a day and a half. Hugh Oshea's project management, advice and communication was excellent, and his team of roofers were hard working, skilful, efficient and polite at all times. The final result far exceeded my expectations for a very fair price. Highly recommended.

Recently had a new roof on my property, my garage and conservatory , including new gutters and downpipes and structural repairs. Excellent service, prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Good communication, tidy and respectful work ethic. Would recommend and definitely use again.

Doyle Homes recently completed my roof in Luton and I couldn’t fault them. From start to finish they were professional, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. The workmanship is solid, the job was finished on schedule and the site was left spotless. Really pleased with the end result and would happily recommend them.

We had our downpipes and guttering replaced today, just in time for heavy rain expected tonight. The job was done quickly, and for an affordable price. The owner, Hugh, checked on the work himself. He would certainly be our first choice if we decide to have more extensive renovations done.

We recently had Doyle Homes do a number of jobs on our roof: fixing leaking and blocked guttering, replacing decayed lead flashing and rotten timbers, replacing old roofing felt with a new membrane, and with new tiles in place of broken ones. Their friendly team did all of this rapidly and expertly. With such an extensive renovation there were two minor problems to rectify at the end but both were fixed promptly.

Robert and Doyle Homes Roofing did an outstanding job on my roof. They were professional, honest and efficient from start to finish. The work was high-quality, communication was clear and there were no surprises. My roof looks great, and the whole process was stress free. Highly recommend their team

I recently hired Doyle Homes to replace my roof and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the first consultation to the final cleanup, their team was professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain every step of the process and answered all my questions clearly and honestly. It’s rare to find a company that delivers this level of honesty quality and customer care. I highly recommend Doyle Homes to anyone needing roofing repairs or a full replacement. You’ll be in great hands!

Prompt response and repair of leaking roof in Luton earlier this week.

Yesterday I had my flat roof replaced by Doyle Homes and I couldn't be more impressed with their work. From their professionalism and attention to detail were exemplary. The team arrived promptly, worked efficiently, and maintained a clean work environment throughout the project. Communication was excellent and I needed some additional work doing which they dealt with. The end result exceeded my expectations, with a beautifully installed roof that provides both aesthetic appeal and peace of mind. I highly recommend Doyle Homes for any roofing needs.

We were happy with the work completed on our garage & flat roof. There were some snags but they have been dealt with by another company & now we are very happy with outcome. Shane Doyle Homes didn't come up to scratch.

Ridge tiles blew down in the storm, the guys came round and replaced them, very polite and fast work, would recommend them for all types of work.

Very efficient, very helpful, extremely tidy. I would highly recommend this company.

Great work done by Connor. Well priced, on time and very happy with the work done. Recommend and will def use again, thanks 👍🏻

I had a problem with the guttering and fascia ETC that was at least 20 years old. I called Doyle Homes, who came out to my house. They had a look at the problem and gave me a quote that I accepted. There were additional issues that they dealt with also. They were able to come out within two weeks and complete the job. We would definitely use this company again.

Doyle Homes Ltd attended within 24 hours of contacting and had emergency scaffolding in place within a further 48 to make the job safe with the repair work being completed within a week. Not only did the company provide a competitive quote, they were also prompt in response to my initial contact and delivered great customer care during the duration of the job. Outstanding service provided and will have no hesitation in using them again.

Would recommend this company to others. Our neighbours in the street have already placed an order for a flat roof as a result of our work. My daughter also has had this company for many years conducting works on their properties, and found them to be excellent. Our roof looks great and Robert and the team are great people to deal with.

From start to finish, the process was seamless and stress-free. The team was very professional and completed the work on time and within budget. They were also very communicative throughout the project, keeping me updated on their progress and answering any questions that I had. I highly recommend this contractor for their exceptional work!!

The team were especially resourceful and helpful, with excellent problem-solving ability and an impressive can-do attitude. Their cheerful and considerate approach was much appreciated. The complete new roof fitted on our house looks very impressive from every angle and is clearly of a high standard and well finished. Overall a very professional company.

I had invited them to inspect my roof and guttering. They provided me with information and photographs of the work that was required. The quote was good value. When they undertook the work, it was very professional, with further photographs to allow me to inspect the work undertaken and completed. Happy to recommend.

They repaired my roof and gutters, and the team was professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the repairs and answer all my questions. The work was completed in a timely manner, and they left my property clean and tidy. I would highly recommend them for anyone in need of roofing or gutter repairs. They are a top-notch company that truly cares about their customers.

Very happy with the works completed. We got our bay window roof relined and all old materials removed. All done in an afternoon. We would recommend Doyle Homes

I recently hired this roofing contractor for a full roof replacement, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They provided me with regular updates on the progress of the project, and the final product was of excellent quality. I highly recommend this company for any roofing needs.

Used them before for a small roof repair and was please with the work and the price. I hoped to use them again, but they are not responding to my calls or request for a quote.

Spoke to Robert and he came over to see what work was needed, after agreeing a price scaffolding was up in a matter of days and work had commenced. Had the whole roof relined and the loft insulated and boarded within a week. His team did a good job and I would recommend going with them if you need work doing.
